FAQ
Does this process require an unlocked bootloader?
No in many cases. AndroidWinTool typically handles BROM mode operations regardless of the bootloader status, but always check the latest tool requirements for the specific firmware version.
What are the risks to NVData?
The tool backs up critical files such as the .bin files shown in logs. If a failure occurs, these backups located in the criticalFiles folder can be used to restore the original NVData state.
Why 13 credits?
This specific Xiaomi CPID operation is a premium service that uses credits because of server authorization requirements for MTK devices.
Is this a permanent repair?
Yes. Once the critical data is written successfully and verified by the tool, the repair is permanent because it modifies the hardware-level identifiers handled by the chipset.
